No, I did not join a new, crazy church! Meet the Turner Triplets. Their mom works with me and asked me if I would do a "fun, laid back" shoot with her kids. She told me that she wanted to let her kids "dress like their personalities" and she wanted to let them bring a prop. Great! One of the things that I love about Leanne is that she lets her kids be "who they are". Maybe it is because she had to endure alot to get these kids here, but I love her perspective on raising her children.
Winston wanted to dress in his sports coat, dress pants and tie. His prop was his bible. Guess what he wants to be when he grows up? When he was born at 25 weeks, he struggled the most and spent the longest time on the ventilator. He is truly a little miracle, and he just makes me smile. During the shoot he announced that he wants to learn to take pictures like me...aaaah!
Taylor wanted to wear a pettiskirt with a twist...she added a "wife beater", some pearls and a pair of converse. Her prop was her pet chicken, Daisy. Sweet name for a ROOSTER! She carried Daisy like a parrot, then set him down and he followed her around like a dog. She was so much fun and she truly lived up to her nickname "Mess-Mess"!
Garrett, the skater. He wanted to wear his Vans, bring his "deck" and wear his beanie. He is the shy, silent type and he informed me that serious skater do not smile! After the shoot, he asked if they could take me to eat, "our treat". Another aaah!
Here are a few of my faves out of 200 pics...
