My Turn!!!

Well, as I have done this little photography hobby, something has occurred to me. I have taken pictures of my friend's and their families but I did not have any of my own family. I have had a few taken here and there, last year we snapped a few for Christmas cards, but not a full photo session. A photographer, (J. Goodison) emailed me a comment on a picture of Kel and said " I hope you have that blown up huge in your house". Well, I didn't. I had nothing in my house bigger than a 5x7!! It really got me thinking about why I hadn't taken the time to get our pictures taken. Around that time, Devon Jones posted on her blog that she has was increasing her prices by a certain deadline. I need deadlines. I have always admired Devon's work and her artistic eye. This girl is going places and at her current prices she is such a STEAL! She also gives you the option to buy your CD, which is a major bonus. We did our shoot last night and it was so much fun! I wanted urban glam and we got it! We walked through all kinds of alleys and just stopped here and there for pics. We also happened upon a great red frame that was just lying around an alleyway. It found a new home with Devon. I now "get" why people get so excited over their pictures because I am over the moon for these! Check out her blog, here is the link...
